At the Corner-Little Rock, AR

I'll admit, at first I was skeptical of the Corner Classic Cheeseburger at @The Corner because of how tall it was. Any judging was quickly shot down once I took the first bite. This cute restaurant is on the corner of Markham, next to Iriana's in downtown Little Rock. It is modern with an ounce of mason jars. They have a breakfast, lunch, and weekend menu! It is definitely worth every penny to dine there.

The brioche, butter bun becomes thin as your hands try to grab hold of the burger. It may end up thin, but it held through the entire eating period! Cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion & bread & butter pickles layered atop the meat and yumminess. I was skeptical at first at how tall the burger was, but was pleasantly surprised at how well I was able to eat it. It wasn't too greasy, and the meat sort melted in your mouth a bit. It was soft, and perfectly cooked for my taste.

To me, $11.50 is on the border for the value of the burger. I wouldn't go frequently simply because of price, but every now and then, sure! The service was great, and I can tell that the restaurant at the corner (pun intended) is beginning to take flight with popularity! I safely recommend trying their burgers, and I hear their brunch on the weekends is fabulous.

Burger King-Bryant, AR-Reynolds Rd.

Eating a burger from every restaurant includes fast food. Not wanting a mountain of food on my burger, I ordered the Whopper Junior. There are claims of the meat not being real meat or that it's extremely greasy. It will be hard to not think of other burger restaurants better than this, but my Whopper Junior was okay. Service was fast and smiles were on faces.

Now, for the nitty gritty:

On the burger was a thin patty of who knows what! Burger King claims that they are 100% beef and there was a horse meat scandal in 2013. Whether they use 100% beef or not, I can tell you it doesn't taste like pure beef.

There were 2 slices of medium grainy tomatoes, a ton of mayonnaise, some mustard, a few small lettuce slices, a dot of ketchup, melted American Cheese over the patty, a few pickles here and there, and a number of onion rings too big to fit on the cheeseburger. The bun was pretty pathetic and condiments soaked right through the bottom, making it a bit soggy. I would recommend the Artisan bun in the future. BK's nutrition facts are found here if interested.
